About Us

Leong's 21 is a family owned restaurant that takes pride in preparing a wide selection of savory traditional dishes. Our food is prepared fresh everyday with locally sourced meat and vegetables into our award winning dishes.

Being that the restaurant is a very family oriented restaurant, we pride ourselves on being family friendly within the restaurant as well as in the community. The owners are a true model of community business owners. In representation of the restaurant, the owners as well as staff help to show their support in local schools as well as other community organizations. Each year we donate to schools through taste fest catering events as well as scholarships for students in need. Along with catering for the schools, we also donate toward local law enforcement as well as community organizations.

Leong's Chinese Restaurant (Leong's 21), is the recipient of top national and local awards. The restaurant was honored in the Top Celebrity Chef & Owners category at the 8th Annual Top 100 Chinese Restaurants Awards Show & Conference. This category recognizes outstanding individuals in the Chinese restaurant industry in the United States and Canada. The awards, sponsored by Asian Restaurant News (ARN), were presented at a ceremony at the Santa Clara Convention Center Theatre, in Santa Clara, California. ARN is the top information resource for Asian-themed restaurants. With the help of our loyal customers, the Macomb Daily has also awarded us with the ‘Best Chinese Food’ in Macomb County 2006-2017. Also, Channel 4’s ClickOnDetroit has also awarded us with 1st place in the ‘Best Chinese’ category from 2011-2015.

None of this would be possible without our loyal customers and the help of those who support us. In attempts to repay the community, we give back in what we can as a restaurant, but nothing compares to the appreciation we have for our customers.
